About the role
A new opportunity to join Origin Energy as our P&C Business Partner is now available.
In this role, you'll be the go-to advisor for employees and managers, guiding them on HR and employee lifecycle matters.
Collaborating with People & Culture teams, you'll ensure seamless delivery of business-aligned HR initiatives and help triage complex challenges with our specialist teams.
This role offers the chance to shape services, improve policies, and provide strategic support, including:
Advising on minor restructures, performance, and conduct matters.
Partnering with leaders on recurring activities like performance reviews and talent planning.
Working with specialist teams on high-risk employment matters to ensure effective resolution.
Supporting key initiatives and driving continuous improvement across HR processes.
What You'll Bring
You will have demonstrated experience in a hands-on HR generalist role, as well as in leadership and coaching stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.
Additionally, you will have exposure to large, diverse, and complex environments.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
A degree or equivalent experience in business, HR, or industrial relations.
Strong knowledge of HR principles and the employee lifecycle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage change effectively.
Commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
