About our Kalgoorlie Manufacturing Site Orica's Kalgoorlie manufacturing site, located in the heart of Western Australia's Goldfields-Esperance region, plays a crucial role in supporting the mining industry. This site is integral to Orica's operations, providing essential services and products, including explosives and blasting solutions, to mining companies in the area.
About the role We are looking for a Project Delivery Lead to oversee the capital project program at our Kalgoorlie site. This position involves managing the capital projects portfolio at the Kalgoorlie site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
The role also includes establishing, balancing, monitoring, and controlling discrete manufacturing projects to support asset owners and achieve their business objectives, while ensuring compliance with Orica's project and program governance requirements.
What you will be doing Serve as the main point of contact for the Asset Owner, developing strong relationships and managing stakeholder expectations. Ensure alignment and governance of project and engineering teams at the Kalgoorlie site to achieve business objectives. Project planning and implementation, monitor progress, and report to key stakeholders. Ensure conformance to Orica SHES standards and manage the PMO's fixed cost budget, including reporting and corrective actions. Provide effective leadership, manage supplier relationships, and ensure teams are trained in project management principles and Orica governance processes. What you will bring Proven experience in project management. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
