An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced professional to join the Workforce People and Culture Directorate as the Organisational Development Consultant. The role will be reporting at our Station Street Office in Penrith.
The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise in the areas of Leadership and Workforce Development, Change Management, Values-based Organisational Capability, Integrated Talent Management, and Organisational Culture. This role is an internal consultant to senior leaders and managers across the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District, providing tailored and evidence-based organisational development interventions to improve organisational capability, performance and culture.
The Organisational Development Consultant role is part of the larger Organisational Development Team that is accountable for strategy development of the District's organisational effectiveness capability.

What will you bring to the role: Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Organisational Development, Leadership, Positive Psychology, Human Resources Development, or related fieldExtensive knowledge of leadership practices and theory, including leadership development, and experience in translating this knowledge to deliver leadership development programs and coaching to managers at multiple levels across an organisationDemonstrated experience in the diagnosis, design, delivery and evaluation of organisational development interventionsDemonstrated experience and practice in coaching to develop manager capabilitiesWell-developed project management, research and analytical skills and the ability to translate theory into intentional organisational interventionsExceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience in consultation, coaching, group facilitation and presenting to large groupsDemonstrated experience working with staff at all levels of an organisation within a complex environment, and the ability to develop trust and rapport with stakeholders
