Position Title: Organisation Development Trainee

Warrnambool City Council has a workforce of approximately 720 staff and provides a diverse range of services to the citizens of Warrnambool. The Organisational Development Branch is a core function of Council encompassing the Human Resources Unit, Learning & Development Unit and the Safety and Risk Unit.

We are currently seeking a trainee who has a strong interest in Human Resources, Health & Safety and Payroll. If you have a high level of organisational skills, the ability to multi-task, and a willingness to learn, then we are looking for you!

The position would suit an individual who is wanting to take that next step in their life and build a strong foundation that will contribute to a successful working career.

The daily functions of the role include:

Answering general enquiries via phone and email Assisting with paperwork and general electronic filing Assisting the HR Advisors and HR Coordinator with administration tasks To be successful, you will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain confidentiality, and be a self-starter and problem solver.

Whilst undertaking this traineeship, you will also be supported to study a Certificate III in Business Administration.

Hourly Rate: National Training Wage

Position Status: Temporary Full Time (12 month position)
