Details of the offer

About Us Globally, energy markets are in transition to a net zero future and the entities within these markets are transforming their underlying business models to ensure that they stay relevant, sustainable and profitable. As one of Australia's largest energy providers, we are proud of our purpose to lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation for all. Our ability to deliver on this Purpose will be dependent on our people. This is where you come in! Join us at EnergyAustralia and take the helm as an Organisational Development (OD) Lead, guiding our journey towards a future of sustainable energy solutions.

About the Role In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping our culture, enhancing our capabilities, and driving performance to align with our ambitious business strategy. As an OD Lead, you'll spearhead the design, development, and implementation of a range of interventions spanning Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), Talent Management, Performance, Development, and Engagement. We're not just undergoing change; we're pioneering it. That's why we're seeking someone who thrives on innovation, embraces systems thinking, and champions cultural leadership.

End to end ownership of a portfolio of OD interventions: Collaborate and consult with P&C Partnering team and business leaders and design, develop and deliver OD interventions that are aligned to organisational purpose, strategy and the P&C plan. These interventions need to be evaluated and iterated on an on-going basis and embedded over time, so desired results are achieved and sustained. Build organisational capability: Ensure that the design and delivery of OD interventions (including processes, tools and programs) build capability within the business. Design masterful and emergent change approaches for OD interventions so that they result in maximum systemic impact. Research and evaluate new and innovative strategies and current best practice in Organisational Development, identifying and recommending the application of new approaches and techniques as best fits EnergyAustralia's needs. How can you support the Clean Energy Transition While experience in OD or P&C may be advantageous, experience and motivation towards change in complex environments is essential. You can demonstrate determination and courage towards achieving outcomes (not outputs) and show a strong desire to deliver continuous improvement in your work and the organisation around you. You should be motivated by the success of the team over individual success and collaborate naturally with team members and stakeholders in the design and delivery of work. Your greatest and most impactful wins will be achieved through working with others. Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills will be an advantage as will project management approaches that show a proactive, thorough and engaging approach to delivery that considers the big picture and important small details. You will be energised by personal development and learning and to help others grow and learn. You see feedback as an opportunity for growth (not criticism) and reflect on your own behaviours, feelings and motivation. If you share our passion for a clean energy future for all and want to join us #Doing. Not just dreaming, then click the 'Apply' button.

Why Us? We're committed to providing an inclusive culture so our people can bring their whole selves to work and have a sense of belonging. From our PRISM network that creates a positive culture for LGBTI employees to our Reconciliation Action Plan that has commitments to strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations, it's a workplace where everyone's welcome. We offer; Discounts on your energy bills for you, your friends and family Recharge and relax with two extra days of leave each year. We call them recharge days. Choose your own public holidays. Take them as they fall or on a day that is more convenient or culturally significant to you! We offer 20 weeks paid parental leave that's completely gender-equal. Balance Life and Work through our Energise program giving the freedom to choose when, where and how you work.
