About the role Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an Orderly to join our team in our Day Surgery Unit on a casual basis. This role will see you working on our rotational roster Monday - Friday with shift times starting at 6am to 7pm available. In this role you will work within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their stay in our DSU.
As a Theatre Orderly your responsibilities will include: Patient Assistance and transfers throughout the DSU General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management. Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily available Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients Work as an active team member to support all work tasks Essential Criteria: Someone that can work autonomously, and as part of a team High level attention to detail Commitment to service excellence Exceptional customer service and communication skills Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision Ability to work in a fast paced environment Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement Working with Children check Applications close:
