Oracle Solutions Architect

12 Months Contract Location: Frankston, 2 days onsite Great work Culture Our client is looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Architect with strong expertise in security and administration.
This role will involve collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to ensure that Oracle Cloud solutions are designed, implemented, and maintained in accordance with client standards and policies.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that solutions are in the best interest of the client rather than the vendor, while supporting ongoing projects and day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities: Provide architectural guidance for both project and enterprise-level initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Ensure all changes adhere to client policies, standards, and guidelines, prioritizing the client's best interests over vendor preferences.
Review and interpret outputs provided by Oracle Consultants to guide decision-making.
Design new technical processes and recommend changes to existing ones and validate and ratify reviews conducted by Oracle, ensuring technical integrity and alignment with project goals.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification or Qualification in Security & Administration.
Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Security and Administration.
Strong understanding of accounting, procurement, and project management best practices is preferred.
Non-negotiables: Proven track record of working with Oracle ERP, EPM, OPC, and OIC, including integration experience.
Prior experience in the water or utility industry is desirable but not mandatory, with domain knowledge support provided by the Lead Solution Architect and Senior Systems Analyst as needed.
