Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) Developer
Location: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide Contract Duration: 12 months + 12-month extension Remote/flexible work arrangements Role & Responsibilities:
Enhance and support business systems through development and deployment of SOAP and REST services using Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) products Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and SOA Suite like BPEL, Human Task, Mediator and Business Rules.
Describe and consume a service using WSDL, WADL, Swagger and do transformations using XSLT and XQuery.
Work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them to service requirements.
Define service composition, processing logic, business and mapping rules, error handling policies and error messages.
Produce and maintain technical documentation such as mapping document, Service contracts, Unit test case documents.
Build and maintain constructive and collaborative working relationships with other members of the project team (e.g., IT Project Manager, Solution Architect, other technology members, Release Manager), as well as members of the IT Operations Team (e.g., Middleware Admin, Production Support team).
Participate and provide updates in daily stand-up meetings facilitated by Project Manager.
Contribute to development and support of products like Axway API Gateway, Axway API Manager, Axway API Portal.
Essential Criteria:
Experience in developing & supporting FMW products such as Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and BPEL; Expert in building SOAP and REST web services following various integration patterns by using best industry practices; Strong project experience solving complex integration technical challenges; Ability to produce high quality detailed technical solution documentation; Ability to produce high quality unit test specifications based on functional and technical design; Ability to define service contracts including message definitions, business rules and non-functional requirements; Ability to work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them to service requirements.

Oracle Jdeveloper Xpath, XQuery, XSLT Oracle SQL Developer, MySQL Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio) CI/CD - Azure Devops, Ansible, Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
