FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT services organisation providing a broad range of services to assist large Australian enterprises and Government departments to deliver IT projects.At present, an outstanding opportunity exists for a talented Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team.You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrading, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of Oracle databases. This role also includes the development and design of database strategies, improving database performance and capacity, and planning for future expansion requirements.The RoleManage Oracle databases through physical and logical design, implementation, and maintenance.Set up and maintain database environments, including development, testing, and production systems.Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security.Apply patches and upgrade database versions.Develop, implement, and test backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to database systems, procedures, and configurations.Document database design, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.Experience & SkillsHighly experienced Oracle Database Administrator.Strong upgrade, backup/recovery, automation scripting experience.Cloud experience would be highly advantageous.Proficiency in SQL and MySQL.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.If you're interested in learning more, please apply below.
