The Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) Consultant will design and develop banking solutions across lending, deposit products, and workflow integration.

Permanent Full Time Large Banking Environment Hybrid Working Arrangement The Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) Consultant will be developing specialised banking applications and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure technical and business alignment. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage project deliverables effectively.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine application requirements for banking projects. Develop and implement applications on the Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) with a focus on lending, deposit, and origination workflows. Lead and manage project deliverables, including prioritisation, estimation, and resource allocation. Utilise Java, J2EE, ADF, SOA, OSB, Oracle Fusion, and OBP technologies for customised solution development. Build, optimise, and troubleshoot components within Oracle BPM, Oracle SOA, and Oracle ADF. Conduct multi-environment deployment and coordinate testing for system changes. Partner with Solution Architects to design scalable frameworks and business process patterns. Champion agile methodologies and continuous integration practices, using tools like Team City. Key Requirements: Minimum of 7+ of experience in the banking domain, specialising in banking application development. Extensive expertise in OBP for lending and deposit products, with at least 5+ years in application design and development. Experience across all SDLC phases, including solution analysis, design, and support. Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Oracle ADF, SOA, OSB, Oracle Fusion, and related technologies. Hands-on experience in Agile environments and familiarity with CI/CD tools. Strong knowledge of relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server. Oracle SOA Suite 11g Certified Implementation Specialist is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences. Salary Package: $150K-$170K (incl super) – depending on experience.
