Senior Occupational Therapist (Paediatric) Optiform is an established Allied Health Practice in Ballarat with two locations delivering best practice assessment and therapy to individuals across the Central Victorian region. Our highly experienced clinical team offers Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Behavioural Support to individuals of all ages.
Position Summary
We're a small but dedicated bunch here at Optiform, and we're seeking someone special to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Paediatric Occupational Therapist with experience, belief, and passion to assist in the further development of our Early Intervention services. You would be well supported as part of the early intervention clinical team of OTs, Speech Paths, and Behaviour Support along with our magnificent admin group. You will also have autonomy and the freedom to further develop your skills in areas of interest as we all develop the service into something to be very proud of.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate clinician to help build our existing service into a highly specialised and dedicated Early Interventional team. This Occupational Therapist will be an important part of our team of Paediatric Speech Pathologists, Allied Health Assistants, as well as a highly experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner. With high quality and reliable administration support, we will provide a collaborative, multidisciplinary service for our clients and their families.
Caseload
This role is exclusively paediatric, with a specific focus on early intervention and school-aged clients, aged 0 – 10. Further opportunity exists to work alongside our experienced Speech Pathologists in our dedicated feeding clinic. Additional training and professional development is available in the area of mental health with our highly experienced senior clinician.

Ideally at least four years of professional experience A genuine interest in working with individuals and families to pursue optimal performance and a sense of satisfaction and achievement Efficient and effective written and verbal communication skills A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessment, treatment, and evaluation within Occupational Therapy practice Desire to shape the Early Intervention Occupational Therapy service The ability to work independently and autonomously within a strong support network A current Drivers Licence.
