Optical Receptionist/Assistant - A Plus Optometry

An Optical Receptionist/Assistant is a key member of our optometry practice, providing excellent customer service and administration. This role combines optical knowledge with a friendly, patient-centered approach to ensure our clients receive the best possible care and eyewear solutions.
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who will have exceptional phone manners, the ability to build rapport with clients, and a passion for helping people look and see their best.
Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner, both in-person and on the phone Schedule appointments and manage the front desk calendar Process payments, insurance claims, and other financial transactions Assist clients with frame selection, measurements, and minor adjustments Maintain a neat and organized reception area Provide basic information about eye health and vision correction Skills and Experience: Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on phone etiquette Knowledge of frame styles, lens options, and current eyewear trends Experience in frame selection, adjustments, and repairs Basic understanding of eye health and vision correction Ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand manner Why Choose Us?
