Optical Assistant / Receptionist

We seek a mature person with experience in retail and administration.
A flexible full-time position is available in a local independent optometry practice.
You will join a small team experienced in providing exceptional eyecare. 

You will greet clients, book appointments and assist clients select eyewear. 
You will assist in the administrative tasks required in the day to day operation of a retail optometry clinic, including processing sales, processing orders, preparing banking, data entry, stock ordering and receiving.
We seek an applicant with a mature attitude, a sense of fashion and style, ?who takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
A warm approachable manner and the ability to converse with people of all ages and backgrounds is essential.
Excellent communication skills are required, both written and verbal.
Experience in optical or allied health industry is an advantage.
Must be available to work Saturdays.
Up to date vaccination is required.
We are an ethical practice. There are no weekly sales targets to meet and no high pressure sales.
