Position Purpose The Pricing & Promotions Manager will be responsible for the delivery and execution of all management of Pricing and Promotions. The role will support the management of pricing and promotional programs/Events. Additionally, they will conduct analysis of price files, along with core range changes price management.
Key Accountabilities: Health and Safety Lead and role model a culture of zero harm through effective risk management and consultation with the team regarding all health and safety matters. Ensure personal safety and the safety of others by complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures and instructions. Provide adequate training and induction processes to all team members on key safety principles. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding health and safety in the workplace. Management of Pricing & Promotions Management of price files and price changes. Part number creation. Build of promotional files in Pronto. Manage and implement short term and long-term pricing requirements. Leverage data sources and research tools with high proficiency to capture and maximise critical thinking. Develop and deliver plans, measuring and monitoring results and making recommendations to achieve targets. Ensure the Customer is at the centre of pricing capability build. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance business processes. Extensive stakeholder engagement to build cross-functional alignment. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Management of Min/Max of the assortment. Analysis Analysis of price files, along with core range changes. Create and support with required reports (For Merchandise team). Monitor and analyse pricing trends in the market to support new pricing recommendations. Monitor key pricing analytics and provide regular updates on implications. Undertake ad-hoc data driven analysis. Manage SKU data – Clearance/Core/Promo etc. Team Leadership Be visible, values based, and role modelling to the wider team. Develop the wider team member skills, required now and in the future, to provide career opportunities and strengthen capability. Role model the Bapcor Leadership Competencies and develop these in others. About You: Skill/Qualifications: Proficiency in Pronto or equivalent. Experience in Pricing / promotions.
