Job DescriptionQuick overview of the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Operator/Welder to join our friendly team with a modern facility!
This role is responsible for welding and constructing pile cages (footing cages and pad footings) using tack welds.
At a minimum, you will operate auto cage pile machines, MIG welders, 5-inch angle grinders, overhead crane as well as clamps and jigs.
This position is based at Currumbin.
What will you be doing? Build required cages in accordance with the specifications provided by customersMaintain and operate all cage-making machines, cranes, and welding equipment in a safe mannerComplete Pre-start checks on the cage-making machine, crane, and welding machinesInterpret and utilise drawingsCheck that the product has been produced to the correct measurementFollow expected work methods for the welder, cage maker and cagesEnsure the correct PPE is wornProduce required cages efficiently and as safely as possibleMaintain general housekeeping of the work area and machineryDesired Skills and ExperienceWhat are we looking for in the successful candidate?
