The Water & Waste Directorate are looking for an individual with experience in the operation of plant and equipment related to commercial or infrastructure/facilities cleaning.
You will be a hardworking and reliable individual with a willingness to learn and further develop your knowledge, skills, and experience within the team.
The Operator, Street Cleaning is responsible for: Safely and legally operate and maintain plant and equipment used in the cleaning of roads, car parks, public amenities and street footpaths and to assist in the operation and maintenance of Council's Waste Facilities.
Operating a range of plant and equipment used in conjunction with street cleaning e.g.
Duel Control vehicleOperating and maintaining small plant and equipmentFollowing procedures and processesWorking with minimum supervisionWorking effectively with othersTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED At least five years experience in a related field e.g.
commercial or infrastructure/facilities cleaning, truck driving, civil construction/maintenance, plant operation etcOH&S Induction training for Construction Work Certificate.Immunisations Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus, Q Fever or willing to obtainINTERESTED?
WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU! Salary range: Grade 6 -$1,081.10 - $1,169.80 per week plus 11.5% superannuation and allowances for a 38 hour work week.
