Cape Preston Port Company (CPPC) provides the port and marine services to Sino Iron, Australia's largest magnetite operation.
CPPC offers a sea change lifestyle, with our shallow, purpose-built facility located on the spectacular Pilbara coastline in Western Australia's north, located 100kms Southwest of Karratha.
The Opportunity Cape Preston Port Company (CPPC) is seeking experienced Port Operators to join our Port Operations team on a permanent 2/1 continuous shift roster (nights & days), FIFO ex Perth.
Reporting to the Port Operations Supervisor - you will be responsible for, but not limited to: Daily inspections on land and marine based assets & fixed plant Operate both bulk material handling equipment, fixed plant and mobile equipment, including but not limited to Excavators, Skid steer, Forklifts, Front end loaders, EWPs, Telehandlers, Stackers, Reclaimers, Control room, Barge and Ship loaders.
Working on the Transhipper operating E-Cranes.
Participate in ship mooring and loading activities.
General plant maintenance and cleaning.
Constant liaison with production personnel to achieve daily production goals.
Once trained provide coverage as a Port Scheduler.
Successful applicant will have: Prior knowledge of Bulk Port operations Knowledge of Port Operating Procedures and marine experience Ideally you would have some exposure to bulk port operations, ship berthing, shiploading, stacking, reclaiming, sample preparation.
Experience on mobile equipment operations ie: front end loaders and skid steers.
