About the role We are delighted to announce that we are looking for an experienced Plant Operator to join our team in our Kalgoorlie Manufacturing Complex. The purpose of this complex is to manufacture Packaged Explosives used in the blasting procedure within the mining and quarrying sectors.
The position is on 8/6 roster with 2 rotating shift structures being morning and afternoons. The successful candidate will be required to live in Kalgoorlie.

What you will be doing Work autonomously to ensure manufacturing plant operates efficiently. Assist with plant maintenance while strictly following Orica Safety, Health, and Environment guidelines. Responsible for diverse tasks including production, maintenance, and administrative duties. Operate critical equipment such as pumps and cartridge machines. Opportunity for cross-training in multiple plant areas to support production. What you will bring Ability to pass all relevant security checks (National Police Clearance). A current driver's licence. A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Trade background would be beneficial but is not essential. Ability to work safely and look out for your teammates. Ability to work in a team environment.
