About the role We are calling for a skilled MMU Operator (SSO) to join our Cairns Quarry Service Team in Queensland. You will be specifically trained and supported to operate our MMU Vehicles, which are highly advanced heavy rigid vehicles fitted with the latest technologies to deliver bulk explosives at our Customers' mine sites. What you will be doing Demonstrating and setting the example of our key Company value "Safety is our priority, Always"; Operating our MMU trucks and other associated blasting plant machinery; Providing operational blasting knowledge and advice to all our client blast crews and associated stakeholders; Assisting with preventative maintenance on all associated plant and machinery; Assist with the 'hands on' delivery of explosive products into pre-drilled blast holes on bench; Working in tight unison with our teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers; At all times, act with integrity and respect. What you will bring A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence is essential; Demonstrated work experience in physically demanding environments; The ability to work outside in all weather conditions; The ability to pass all required security checks to obtain a Dangerous Goods licence; An excellent, positive, and team-based attitude where you look out for your teammates; A basic mechanical comprehension would be highly regarded; The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen.
