Dugald River mine in Northern Queensland is one of the world's top 10 Zinc mine operations, which has been producing zinc concentrate for customers around the world since 2017.

Operator Mining – Charge Up We currently have a fantastic career opportunity available for a Charge Up Operator to join our Mining team at Dugald River Mine.
Reporting to the Supervisor - Mining, you will ensure the safe prepping and charging practices for stope production.
This role is based on an 8/7, 7/6 (Days & Nights) roster, drive in drive out from Cloncurry or Mount Isa and FIFO from Townsville.
Qualifications, skills & Experience A current C Class LicenceAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment MedicalMust have or be able to obtain Explosives Security ClearanceCompetency of RIIBLA205E - Store, handle and transport explosivesCompetency of RIIBLA304E - Conduct underground production shot firingCompetency of RIIBLA305E - Conduct secondary blastingCompetency of RIIBLA303E - Conduct underground development shot firingCompetency of Working at HeightsPrevious experience of operating Normet Charmec charge rig or similar equipment are desirableGeneral understanding of Underground Mining Environment and long hole stope productionTo be successful in this role, you will possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards safety.
