Reporting to the Supervisor - Mining, you will carry out the safe and efficient installation of cable bolt ground support utilizing an industry-leading cable bolting machine. You will be responsible and accountable for the correct installation of cable bolts by following all Dugald River Procedures and Work Instructions and in accordance with your legislated duty of care.This role is based on an 8 days on and 7 days off, 7 nights on and 6 days off roster, drive in drive out from Cloncurry or Mount Isa. FIFO from Townsville may be considered for exceptional candidates.Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience A current C Class LicenceMust have Cable Bolting experience in an underground hard rock environment.A broad range of experience working with heavy machinery is desirable.Compliance with all HS&E policies and procedures including reporting, and best practice for the areas of underground mining service works.Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment MedicalCompetency of Working at HeightsIT (Integrated Tool Carrier) ticket or relevant RPL's - desirable To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards safety.What we offerRemuneration for this role includes a competitive salary package, annual bonus and generous local allowances.On-site accommodation at Dugald River is provided in fully air-conditioned en-suite rooms and includes meal service and room cleaning.
