Work.
As the Operator Maintainer, you will be responsible for water distribution and system monitoring activities as well as maintenance, refurbishment and enhancement of infrastructure.
You will be required to schedule, operate and control water distribution activities to meet Customer Standards of Service.
Other responsibilities will include: Ensuring all activities are undertaken in compliance with Environmental and WH&S requirements and relevant Sunwater policies, standards, and business rules Fostering and maintaining good working relationships with water supply customers, internal and external clients, and fellow workers Undertaking preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance work to the required standard and within the required timeframes, where required.
Undertaking fault analysis and implementing solutions to operational and maintenance issues.
Please note that due to the nature of this role, there is a 1 in 2 on-call roster.
Sunwater are looking for someone with the possession of, or the ability to obtain Certificate II and Certificate III in Water Operations and Dam safety training with a class 'C' drivers' licence.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate: Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions, and communicate effectively Experience of operation and maintaining water treatment plants and sewerage systems as well as irrigation distribution systems SAP experience/knowledge Experience undertaking aquatic and terrestrial weed control activities efficiently and safely This role offers an array of attractive benefits including: Base salary starting from $80,209.28 + on-call allowance 12.75% superannuation Access to TOIL 17.5% leave loading [only applicable to EA employees A genuine emphasis on work/life balance Water.
