We're looking to appoint an Electrical Operator Maintainer to join our team at Townsville Power Station, which is a combined cycle, gas fired power station that supplies electricity to the National Electricity Market and is an important contributor to the energy supply in Queensland.
As an Operator Maintainer, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for performing routine, preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance and operation at the Power Station.

What you'll do Proactively drive and maintain a safe working environment.Perform routine, preventative, corrective maintenance.Assist in plant operation, start-ups, shutdowns where required.Effectively utilise provided systems, processes, and resources to ensure that Worley and our client's business objectives are achieved.Assist in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by identifying improvements in maintenance activities and processes.Conduct plant inspections and unit return to service walk downs.Ensure Worley HSE standards are implemented and achieved.Assess risks and hazards involved in tasks and methods to manage hazards and prevent incidents and injury.Liaise with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure tasks and objectives are achieved.What you'll have Previous experience within the Power industry is desirable.High risk licence in Advanced boiler and turbine operations.HV switching (Electrical).Instrumentation training (Electrical).Hazardous area training (Mechanical/Electrical).QTP.High level diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.Demonstrable knowledge and practical site HSE legislation and duty of care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Why you should apply Join a fun and inclusive, global team of professionals.Enjoy a varied & challenging role.ASX listed global energy leader.A supportive work environment where innovation is inspired, and new ideas are encouraged.Opportunities for personal and professional development and career growth.Moving forward together We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
