About the role Viterra is looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and focused individual who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. We have a permanent part-time opportunity to work across our Gladstone group. Our operator roles are responsible for the daily operations of the site from loading and unloading trucks, operation of hoppers, stackers, and forklifts, maintaining bunkers, grain sampling, and general cleaning duties. Within the daily operations, it is possible that you will be required to complete confined space and working at heights tasks. This role will be part of a supportive team environment during the harvest season and will work closely with the seasonal workforce.

Duties may include but are not limited to Loading and unloading trucksResponsible for keeping grain storage areas cleanGrain classification and quality controlPlant operation and manual grain handling work tasksTraining and leading seasonal staffMonitoring of bunkers, tarps, and silosMaintenance of site and equipmentPest managementAbout you Work well in a team environment with the ability to learn quickly and accept new challengesStrong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsProven effective leadership and team building skillsWorking at heights and confined space tickets, desirablePrevious grain handling experience is preferred but not essentialFEL and forklift license would be highly regardedBy joining Viterra's operations, you can experience varied, active work where the day goes by quickly and less or no time at a desk.
