Description: Quick Overview Of The Role
Working as part of the team in our Caloundra branch, you will operate all machinery, produce goods, prepare and build loads, and ensure that all loads are quality inspected and tagged while committing to your safety and that of the team. You will receive thorough training and support to learn all aspects of the Operator role, and any future career development opportunities within the business.
What will you be doing? Safe unloading of goods and materials & ensuring accuracy of receipt documentation. Operating machinery, plant, and equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with company procedures. Producing manufactured goods in accordance with specifications. Picking and packing of sales orders in accordance with order requirements, company procedures and nominated work plan. Conducting pre-start checks on plant, equipment, and machinery before use. Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping at all times. Communicating with other staff in an effective manner to ensure a productive, cost effective & safe worksite. Safe loading of vehicles within Safe Loading Guidelines and Chain of Responsibility legislation. Completion of relevant documentation correctly & accurately.
