The Opportunity Veolia is currently seeking an enthusiastic Green Organics Operator within its Resource Recovery Division on the Gold Coast. This role will ensure the safe and efficient processing of green organic stockpiles located at the City of Gold Coast Waste and Recycling Centres and Landfill sites. The role will also require monitoring the flow and production of materials, coordination of logistics activities for removal of processed green organics and contamination management of stockpiles. Operating shredding/grinding plant and equipment and excavators for loading of equipment. Operating wheel loaders to maintain stockpiles and load haulage trucks post processing. Completing scheduled work as instructed. Completing minor maintenance activities on plant and equipment. Operating and maintaining individual work areas in a safe and efficient manner. Monitoring any non-conforming materials and reporting any unauthorised tipped material, as identified in Veolia policy and procedure. What you'll need to be successful Multi-ticketed Operators are highly desirable Excavator and Front End Loader Experience with Horizontal Grinders (desirable) Heavy Rigid Licence (desirable) Veolia's AlwaysSafe culture means that we care about the safety of people on our sites.
