Depending on your role, you'll have the tools and flexibility to work in a hybrid way that balances your lifestyle and the requirements of the team.What else makes us great:Option to salary package up to $15,900 per year on living expenses, and claim further tax-saving benefits on topExtensive training/development opportunitiesBring your whole authentic self to work each dayand be part of a supportive environmentYou're gifted 3 additional days of leave at Christmas!Financial support and study leave to undertake higher educational courses related to workWork in an environment that values all voices – have an influence, be the difference!Benefits Hub that includes lifestyle discounts from hundreds of leading stores and servicesAbout the role:The Technical Writer role will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and refining operational guides and resources to support and enhance the consistent delivery of high-quality services for our veterans and their families.Sitting within our Veteran Services, Service Operations, this role will allow for creativity how information is delivered to ensure its is useful, relevant and accessible for the Veteran Services Department.Reporting to the Head of Service Operations, you will:Plan, develop, author and/or facilitate delivery of new or existing content for operational processes and proceduresManage updates and revisions of authored contentCollaborate with business subject matter experts and process analysts to form a good understanding of business knowledge needs, and support all service delivery deliverablesCollaborate with stakeholders to generate and deliver operational content in accordance with service level agreements / agreed timelines for scoped workBe creative in the use of images, infographics, diagrams, animations, process mapping and charts to increase knowledge user comprehension and understanding of contentTo be successful in this role, (ideally) you will have:The successful person will proactively look to build strong relationships with our teams and work collaboratively across the business.Bachelor's degree in English, Computer Science, Journalism, or CommunicationExperience in the human services industry (community care or health care)3+ years practical experience in a similar role requiredExcellent writing and research skills, and a strong eye for detail, language, and flowExcellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and work on multiple projectsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in dynamic team environmentStrong ability to work in ambiguous situationsForward looking with a holistic approachProblem solving and root cause identification skillsAn ability to work effectively at all levels in an organisationMust be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through othersEmbracing collaboration and innovation, we work as one to lead the change veterans need.
