ABOUT THIS ROLEWe are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Operations Support Officer based at our Gladstone Depot - supporting our team of waste collection professionals to effectively manage daily operational goals. The role requires consistent engagement with our driving teams and clients/customers to achieve the desired outcomes on process compliance, safety, productivity, and service delivery.
You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops. We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the management and lead a team of 20+ operational staff in GladstoneAid the Gladstone Operations Manager on a day-to-day basisEstablish and manage relations with customers, team members and others as requiredMentor, train and regularly evaluate your teamComply with laws, regulations and requirements including OH&S with an understanding of return-to-work processesIdentify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvementABOUT YOUProven customer service experienceWell-developed people management & self-management skillsExperience multitasking and working across various applications/systemsStrong scheduling experience, ensuring operations successStrong ability for data analysis, interpretation, and implementation of improvementSignificant Safety FocusExperience within an operations orientated roleTrack record of developing and driving continuous improvementStrong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)BENEFITSWe appreciate there is more to life than work, we provide a variety of work options to ensure the job gets done; with competitive remuneration and a range of benefits, regardless of your role or location including:
