Qube Bulk now have positions vacant for road transport Operations Supervisor to join the team at our S32 Cloncurry operations. Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will oversee the effective delivery of haulage operations under our haulage and train load out contract, ensuring that work by Qube complies with all client, regulatory and company responsibilities, including and most importantly safety.
Roster – 10:10Long term leadership roleAttractive and competitive remuneration packageSpecific Responsibilities Leadership and supervision of a team of operatorsSupervise staff, ensuring staff have skills required to undertake tasks as designatedUndertake regular on the job observations and coaching, and advice to employees to assist in their safety developmentEnsure QUBE Procedures and Policies, and those related to Client Operations are understood and adhered toEnsure vehicle and driver compliance of all relevant HSE, Client, NHVR and Qube policies and proceduresOrganizing and scheduling the operators to meet daily haulage requirements and targetsManagement of production and mechanical break-down issuesProvide comprehensive reporting to the management team on haulage achievements, challenges and issuesProviding effective guidance, coaching, and mentoring to site personnelMaintaining and fostering a working environment which prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding serviceDevelopment of working relationships with key stakeholders on siteAbility to work under pressure to achieve set targets and standardsQualifications and Experience A minimum of 3-5 years within the Mining and/or heavy transport industry in a similar rolePrevious experience working in haulage and working towards production targetsPrevious experience successfully managing and leading a teamGood knowledge and experience of best practice in mining and road transport operationsMining Supervisor S123 & G2 Risk Facilitator QualificationsRIIVEH302E Operate multi-combination vehicleRIIMPO304E Conduct wheel loader operationsTAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Optional)If you would like the opportunity to join one of the fastest growing Ports, Transport and Logistics company in Australia then please click on the "Apply" button below and complete our online application form.
