About the role: Lead a team of train crew & operational staffSetting and monitoring of performance standards and behavioural standards to build a high-performance team.Contribute to a learning environment spending time in the field engaging with crewWork in collaboration with rostering and scheduling teams to manage training, annual leave and attendance levelsManage performance and disciplinary matters if requiredTake accountability for incident investigations within the area of responsibility and conduct detailed investigation reportsAbout you: 2+ years experience in a leadership roleAbility to work on a 24/7 shift rosterAble to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and influence employees to make sound safe choicesDemonstrated frontline leadership capability including task assignment, problem solving and performance managementAn ability to demonstrate your effectiveness at engaging team members, establishing and sustaining relationships & setting of clear directionYou will be highly organised and be able to prioritise conflicting tasks ensuring the best outcomes for the businessWhat we offer you: At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
