We are Australia's largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.The OpportunityBased in Darwin, the Operations Supervisor will lead our operations team, focusing on driving client and customer satisfaction, promoting safety and well-being, and delivering financial and business growth.Coordinate the delivery of compliant and customer-focused waste services across multiple sites.Provide frontline operational and safety leadership to a team of 35 operators.Identify and deliver operational improvements and exceed key performance benchmarks.Manage and prepare detailed reports on all operational activities.Conduct thorough incident investigations utilising well-established investigation techniques.About YouYou will be a people-focused person with well-developed frontline leadership skills and be able to cover a rotating shift pattern to provide operational supervision from 4am – 5.30pm.HR license is desirable, but not essential.Previous operational leadership experience is essential.An uncompromising commitment to safety-first culture.Proficiency with health and safety management systems.Road transport, logistics and/or waste management experience will be highly regarded.Our ProcessOur recruitment process involves a number of checks including reference checks, verification of qualifications, licences and right-to-work status.We are dedicated to improving employment outcomes and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
