Transdev Queensland (part of the global Transdev Group) is currently looking for a permanent, full-time Operations Supervisor to join our Operations team at our depot in Capalaba, on the Redlands Coast.

The Opportunity As an Operations Supervisor, you will work closely alongside the Operations Manager to lead the Operations Control Centre (OCC) and support our team of bus drivers.
You will play a key role in building a high performing culture and ensuring Transdev delivers safe and reliable bus services to our customers.
Supporting and coaching OCC Operators in monitoring the bus network and responding to Bus Driver queries.You and your team will be the first point of contact for our drivers.Maintaining a visible presence in the Depot, particularly at peak times, to support drivers.Assisting the OCC Operators to manage daily Bus Driver shift changes and roster variations.Ensuring our contractual requirements are being met, for example, early and late running of buses, incident reporting and missed trips.Managing incidents in line with policy and procedures.When required, supporting the Operations Manager to provide after-hours incident response and support of on-road incidents.Identifying and closing gaps in processes and procedures.Leading the co-ordination of rail replacement buses and events work with the Operations Scheduling Officer and the OCC, including management of the Customer Service Officers.Reviewing and analysing operational delivery metrics.Preparing reports for operations and key stakeholders as required.Your Talent: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team, ideally within a blue-collar industry.Proven ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, making thoughtful decisions and managing crises effectively.Strong analytical skills combined with a calm demeanour, allowing for effective troubleshooting and innovative solutions under pressure.Well-developed skills in interpreting and applying legislation, standards, guidelines, and policies.Previous operational experience in a public transport industry is preferred but not essential.The ability to learn quickly and easily adopt new technologies and systems.What we offer: Development opportunities and participation in internal leadership programsAccess to discounted private health insurance, the Maxxia Rewards program and gym subsidyPaid parental leaveOnsite parking availableAn Employee Assistance ProgramAbout Transdev Transdev is an international leader in mobility at the service of communities.
