Focused on innovation and sustainability, they continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and minimise environmental impact.DescriptionAs an Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of 12 employees on the day shift at our Northgate facility, overseeing all warehouse operations, including the safe loading and unloading of steel products, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of processing equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include:Leading, motivating, and developing your team to meet customer expectations and exceed operational targets.Managing daily operations, including transitioning from the Night Shift and ensuring a smooth handover to the Afternoon Shift.Collaborating with the sales and transport teams to consistently meet DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) targets.Cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.Championing a culture of well-being, safety, and inclusivity within the team.Managing volume fluctuations and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and SOPs.Providing coaching and mentoring to foster professional development within your team.Identifying opportunities for operational improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and safety.ProfileWe are looking for an engaging leader with a passion for developing teams and driving operational excellence.
