UGL Defence is currently working towards the award of a fuel-related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract with Defence. We have an opportunity for an Operations (OA) Supervisor to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation. The Role The Operations Supervisor, reporting to the NSW O&M Superintendent, will be responsible for the effective operation of the Fuel Installation across the ports in the Sydney basin. Lead, motivate and manage a small team of OA's and their teams. Work with Superintendent to ensure timely and effective delivery of Operating Services Plan. Monitor relevant site level compliance reviews for all fuel movements, testing and compliance. Contribute to the management OA budget performance. Ensure clear understanding across all sites of UGL and Defence HSE Expectations and obligations. About You You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your extensive experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer while developing yourself personally and professionally. As an experienced Operations Supervisor you will have: Extensive experience working in the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Marine or similar industries, with proven experience in operations management. Relevant tertiary technical qualifications or relevant industry experience. Prior experience in Defence Fuels will be highly regarded. Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at various levels. Safety is at the forefront of everything you do. Hold or obtain relevant Defence training to meet OA task requirements. Current holder or ability to obtain NV-1 security clearance.
