Darwin Location$88K - $94K Plus 15.4% Nominated SuperFull-time, PermanentGenerate distinctive video and stills content for broadcast and digital news and provide field production supportThe Role ABC News is looking for an experienced Operations Specialist (TV) to collaborate with Producers and Journalists to edit video content for news and current affairs at an advanced level to an integrated program brief. Based in Darwin, you will also manage the daily media requirements for the Darwin newsroom.
The Job Initiate video concepts and meet deadlinesEdit news and long-form content for broadcast and social mediaContribute to editorial planning and daily news deliveryCollaborate with the News leadership team and accept feedbackStay informed on news events for creative content ideasPlan for events and generate content ideas and adapt to digital trends and new technologiesCreate stories reflecting Australia's cultural and socio-economic diversityAbout You You will have highly advanced experience with video editing and media management in a professional News environment, and experience producing video for online and mobile platforms. Experience with Grass Valley Edius editing software preferred but not essential.
