Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology)Government - State (Government & Defence)The successful candidate will establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other staff within the branch to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and service levels across the branch.This role focuses on the delivery of Windows and Office feature releases to Queensland Health computers across the state. Duties include root-cause analysis of incidents relating to these updates, reporting on the uptake of these updates and reported issues, and providing guidance on best practice for teams directly involved with the delivery of these updates. This role is based at our Fortitude Valley office but the location is negotiable within Queensland.Role responsibilities:Provide high level technical skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements.Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, preferably with the ITIL framework.Ensure end to end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health.Key Capabilities, Knowledge and Experience:Proven ability to participate in a highly skilled technical team providing high-level technical direction, standardisation and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focused organisation.High level understanding and working knowledge of relevant technical domains:Windows Operating SystemsMicrosoft System Center Configuration ManagerDirectory Services (Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory)Active Directory Group Policy administration and configurationApplication packaging (MSI, application virtualisation, scripting technologies)Enterprise printing solutions (Novell iPrint)Demonstrated skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements.Benefits of working with eHealth Queensland:By joining eHealth Queensland, you will work within a fast-paced, challenging and supportive environment where every employee plays a critical role in our ongoing success.You will enjoy a variety of benefits, including:Competitive salary + generous superannuation and leave loadingFlexible working arrangementsCareer training and developmentTo apply for this exciting opportunity, submit your resume and a cover letter online today.
