An exciting, fixed term temporary full-time opportunity until 21 March 2025 for a Operations Specialist AO6 to join the Digital Infrastructure Services team to provide high level technical direction, support and advice to maintain defined enterprise service levels in one or more technology domains.
As the Operations Specialist, you will establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other staff within the branch to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and service levels across the branch. Additionally, provide high level technical skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements
Are you right for this role? To be successful in the role, you will have:
Demonstrated ability to develop and promote Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework, primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management (SFIA Code: ITMG 5, USUP 4; PBMG 5; CHMG 4)Demonstrated technical expertise and experience in some of the following technology domains to analyse ICT system issues, and contribute to the design and implementation of appropriate solutions and improvements (SFIA Code: SYSP 4; TECH 4, HSIN 5, SCAD 4)Telecommunication products and services experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skill with a demonstrated ability in : Pivot Tables & Charts, use of Vlookups and Functions/FormulasExperience in data, mobile and voice services managementBilling and costing managementKnowledge and experience in the telecommunication carrier bill analysis experience will be well regardedAdvanced Microsoft Excel Skill with a demonstrated ability in: Pivot Tables & Charts, use of Vlookups and Functions/Formulasdata, mobile and voice services analysis and reportingWell-developed oral and written communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations and the ability to maintain relevant registers and develop reports for management (NHS Effective and Strategic influencing - SFIA Code RLMT 4) Organisational success fitAbility to meet service delivery targets and implement quantifiable service improvements by coordinating multiple tasks within agreed priorities, time frames and working unsupervised (NHS Drive for Results)Proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders (NHS: Collaborative Working) About eHealth Queensland: eHealth Queensland is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state.
