Operations | Manufacturing/Operations, Trades/Service, Packaging The Operations Branch is responsible for the manufacture ofdomestic and foreign circulating coin, collector and investor coin,medals, and medallions. The Operations Production Assistant willwork in a variety of production roles using manual and automatedsystems, machinery, and equipment. They also perform associatedtasks, such as identifying and problem solving basic productionissues, maintaining and retrieving records, and assisting withdispatch and packaging. The Operations Branch operates over two shifts as set out in theRoyal Australian Mint's Enterprise Agreement. Successfulapplicants will be allocated to one of these shifts, which mayinclude weekends, and may be required to rotate between shifts withnotice. We are looking to fill numerous ongoing, non-ongoing and casualroles. The successful applicant is required to workon-site. The duties of this position include: 1. Undertaking manufacturing processes using manualand automated systems, machinery, and equipment. 2. Maintaining manufacturing data through manual andelectronic records. 3. Assisting trade staff with set up and operation ofproduction equipment. 4. Following work instructions and safe workpractices, identifying and reporting hazards, and ensuringadherence to principles and practices of quality. 5. Identifying and problem solving basic productionissues, providing feedback to supervisors and colleagues. 6.
