The Role
As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our teams and projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Crew Development: Mentor and manage tree crews, including apprentice arborists, fostering their professional growth.Scheduling: Oversee roster and crew scheduling to allocate resources effectively.Compliance Monitoring: Ensure daily compliance with crew reporting, including pre-starts, timesheets, JSAs, and journey management plans.Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing progress updates, operational reporting, and incident notifications.Performance Management: Drive team performance to achieve profitability and project goals.Budgeting: Manage budgets with accurate forecasting.Business Development: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities for the business.Recruitment: Lead the recruitment of both experienced and trainee arborists to support operations.Auditing: Conduct internal audits of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with company and client standards.Operational Oversight: Maximize productivity by strategically allocating teams and resources.What We're Looking For
