Operations Manager - Student Residence

This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities.  Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.
The child is at the centre of everything we do and the way we do it.
Duties Manage the day-to-day operations of a student residence facility, ensuring the delivery of a safe and supported service for years 11 and 12 students living away from home to complete their studies.
The role will provide leadership and support to facility staff who are responsible for the engagement, safeguarding, wellbeing, and supervision of residents, subsequently building the self-esteem, resilience, capacity and engagement of all student residents, and ensuring their success in the completion of their studies.
Period of Appointment Ongoing - Start date of 16 December 2024
Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. Hours per fortnight 73.5 hours per fortnight
