CQ Diesel Fitting is a family orientated company based in Gladstone, Mackay and Brisbane and services a range of equipment including heavy haulage, earth moving machinery repairs, and lifting equipment. We are looking for an experienced leader with a mechanical aptitude and sales focus, to join our team in Mackay QLD, where you'll play a pivotal role in our growth and success.
As our Operations Manager NQ you have the responsibility for the effective resourcing and management of the Northern Region Branch on a daily basis. Ensuring that all sales performance targets are achieved in a safe work environment and that all CQ Diesel Fitting strategic and operational guidelines are followed. This role demands a proactive approach in managing client expectations and driving revenue through effective business development and account management.
Key Responsibilities: Lead an efficient operation of our Mackay workshop, ensuring quality standards, safety protocols and equipment maintenance are upheld to the highest level.Manage and schedule clients work scopes ensuring efficiencies in work load and quality to meet customers' requirements.Manage administrative tasks relating to office operations, including reviewing job flow packages prior to invoicing and setting and mentoring your administration and purchasing team to achieve their targets.Maintain strong relationships with new clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.Nurture relationships with your workshop Fitters and Auto Electricians to lead and strengthen their development.About You: Proven experience in a Management role in a similar industry is very advantageous.Strong communicator and have the ability to build meaningful relationships with all employees and customers.Experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.Strong mechanical aptitude.High degree of professionalism and ability to lead by business objectives.Strong leadership and team building skills.Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships with customers.Technical knowledge to understand and communicate equipment details.Excellent communication, time management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.To apply online, please click on the appropriate link and send your resume in PDF format.
