Your future role Mainetec is seeking a dedicated, experienced professional with a commitment to safety and respect to manage the day-to-day operations of our fabrication and repair workshop.
Key Responsibilities Provide leadership to direct employees and sub-contractors on safety issuesPromote and ensure compliance by the workforce with regards to safety requirements for all work being undertakenActively manage the workshop to ensure that the end-to-end production process satisfies customer requirementsOversee the day-to-day business operations including manufacturing, quality control, and purchasingPromote a culture of quality and drive operational efficiencies with a focus on continuous improvementComplete project management in line with business development priorities and ensure targets are metManage financials to ensure costs are maintained, estimates are accurate, and financial policies are adhered toAbout you Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication TradeMinimum 10 years of experience in directly relevant rolesDemonstrated leadership experience in engineering and maintenance companiesAdvanced written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft OfficeAble to work in and lead in a busy team environment focused on growth and innovationDemonstrated problem-solving ability; including to negotiate, influence and implement changeExcellent organisational skills; ability to multitask and work under pressureHighly motivated leader, team player, results-drivenExperience working with a remote and diverse teamPlease note the successful candidate will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment prior to commencement.
