Operations Manager – Disability Accommodation
Allambie Heights Aged and Disability Full-time $116,000 base (neg) plus super and salary packaging
Join 2024's Most Trusted NDIS Service Provider Brand as we implement a new leadership model to improve experiences for clients and staff.
The Operations Manager is a practical, hands-on leadership role.
With 2 full-time direct reports, you'll lead a cluster of 4 houses in Beacon Hill, Allambie Heights, Queenscliff and North Curl Curl to deliver exceptional services and supports to adults with disability.
While you're 100% committed to management, your direct reports have a hybrid role providing a mix of management support and direct client services.
You're based in the business.
That's where the magic happens and is where clients and staff need you most.
It's expected you will directly manage at least one of the houses, while supporting your team and ensuring great outcomes across the cluster.
The goal is to work with your direct reports as a team to achieve client, staff, quality, and financial objectives.
Ready for success?
To be successful in this role you'll have:
A minimum Certificate IV qualification in community services, leadership, management, or similar.
Experience leading a team to meet, and then exceed, client expectations.
Experience operating in a highly regulated community services-based environment such as disability, mental health, aged care, or family services.
Experience overseeing a budget and general financial literacy.
Experience developing client plans to meet client needs.
Experience coaching and mentoring teams to improve service delivery.
An understanding of the disability services operating environment and the NDIS would be fantastic but can be learned.
An understanding of the needs and vulnerabilities of people with disability – including the importance of hearing and valuing the voices of people with disability.
A sense of humour when things don't go to plan never hurts!
This role will be the 2IC to the Regional Business Manager, so it's an incredible opportunity for someone looking to develop further into a senior leadership role.
What can we offer you?

While the role is service based, there's flexibility on how and when you to work to meet your life commitments.
