What this job involves. An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic and proactive Retail Operations Manager to join our team at an upbeat shopping centre based in Toowoomba. In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects including:
Contractor Management – day-to-day proactive management of all PPM and Ad hoc services providers.Sustainability, development, and delivery of initiatives to provide cost efficiencies to variable outgoings, in conjunction with Centre Manager and Client requirements.Driving success across Security Risk Management and Essential Services Compliance.Embedding risk and compliance within the property and prepare for annual risk audit using OPS AIDE and RE-GUIDE in conjunction with the Centre Manager.Prepare Capital budget and Operational budgets for expenditure and planning with Centre Manager.Deliver all financial outcomes for operation and capital budgets, forecasting and delivery with focus on recoveries and strategic management across all cost areas in conjunction with Centre Manager.Drive Tenancy Co-ordination, including external consultants, CAT1, and delivery of works.Assist with the quality delivery of the operations property business plan and monthly reporting.Identify and implement cost efficiencies across the centre.Deliver and report monthly to the Centre Manager on the OPEX /CAPEX expenditure.Ensure all JLL process and provision procedures are adhered to.Responsible for ensuring JLL reporting and management systems are updated and reported on monthly or as requested.Ensure centre presentation standards are maintained to the highest level.Undertaking the role of Duty Manager, escalating issues where appropriate in line with JLL policies.Sound like you? A clear and proven understanding of WH&S and risk management is a must-have, along with related property, facilities management, and operations management experience in a retail/shopping centre environment.
You can resolve complex technical issues in a practical manner with the ability to work independently and make the right decisions. You display strong initiative to ensure that ongoing changes affecting facilities management are anticipated and managed.
