The Opportunity We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team.
Based at our Rockhampton Depot, you will also oversee operations for Biloela and Gladstone.
In this pivotal role, you will lead teams in managing daily operational objectives for our various contracts in the region.
Lead and support a blue-collar workforce of operations and drivers across three sites, and a white-collar workforce of managers, supervisors, and administrative & customer service staff. Establish strong relationships with key clients, community members, and vendors. Lead by example, develop, coach, and undertake training for your teams. Work with operational supervisors to regularly review regulations and requirements, including OH&S and fleet activity, and identify continuous improvement opportunities. About You We seek a proactive leader who excels in team engagement and comprehensively understands safety, compliance, and efficiency principles essential for excellence in transport operations.
You have experience leading and coaching large workforces of blue and white-collar employees.
Your leadership style fosters employee engagement and a culture of respect while driving operational objectives and KPIs.
Experience in transport, logistics, or the service industry is highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience in management systems and processes, including leadership reports, budgets, and the adoption of various technologies.
You possess intermediate to advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the emotional intelligence to adapt your style to various audiences and levels of management.
