Genus PFA is one of the market leaders in providing asset inspection and maintenance services for entities and the private sector. Our services help mitigate the risk of pole failure, preventing potential hazards such as fire or electrocution. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team.The RoleWe are seeking a qualified and driven Operations Manager with expertise in managing pole inspection and reinforcement projects. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our business, ensuring seamless delivery of services to clients and maintaining high standards in safety, quality and efficiency.The Operations Manager role involves, but is not limited to:SHEQ leadership and management, ensuring all work is conducted safely and meets compliance standards.Oversee the scheduling, management and monitoring of pole inspection and reinforcement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.Manage a team of approximately 20-30 staff and subcontractors involved in the inspection, maintenance, and reinforcement of poles.Control and manage the P&L for the business, driving operational efficiency and profitability.Serve as the first point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.Promote a lean operational culture, continuously improving processes to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently.Essential criteriaAt least 3 years of experience in a management role, ideally within the utilities, asset inspection, or pole reinforcement industries.Strong understanding of power utility operations and pole asset management.Effective team leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve business goals.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and staff.Capability to operate autonomously, demonstrating initiative, while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.Proficiency in handling high-pressure situations while upholding a meticulous attention to detail.The BenefitsThe successful candidate will benefit from access to our Employee Assistance Program, career development, growth opportunities, competitive remuneration.How to ApplyApplications from recruitment agencies will not be considered.
