Rockhampton Basketball aims to provide opportunities to promote, grow, and develop the sport of Basketball throughout the Rockhampton Regional Community. With 1,100 members (trending upwards), a nationally regarded NBL1 program, and an annual turnover of approximately $1,000,000, Rockhampton Basketball provides an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to lead our Association through the next phase of our Strategic vision.
The Operations Manager's position will be responsible for the implementation and execution of the Associations strategic objectives, ensuring exceptional performance across several key areas including financial health, membership growth, development of our people, governance and internal processes, and infrastructure development.
Our vision is to be the 'Sport of Choice' in the Rockhampton Region. To achieve this, we need to be about more than just sport. We need to ensure that we adhere to elite business practices, providing an outstanding customer experience for all our members and key stakeholders, and positively engage with the wider Rockhampton community. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering this vision.
You will be supported by an ambitious, strategically focused skills-based Management Committee, and a small but passionate team of full-time and casual staff members, as well as sub-committees of volunteers.
