Position Profile: RPBG is seeking an experienced business leader for the Operational Manager role. The successful applicant will have excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and good problem-solving skills with a solution orientated mind set.
The position is a part of the RPBG Business Unit and works closely with RPBG Directors relevant to their portfolio as well as EMHS colleagues in promoting and championing business, activity and financial sustainability for RPBG. This position is currently responsible for the Medical Division, Director Nursing and Patient Support Services Division and the Allied Health Division.
Key aspects of the Operations Manager role include:
Driving effective oversight and efficient management of resources for their Divisions and the Group. An in depth understanding of business matters to effectively advise Directors and Managers on initiatives and deliverables, including process and practice to achieve business goals. Maintaining effective governance for the Divisions on business matters including financial, human resources, procurement and contracting and activity. The ability to translate key business data for the varied functions in their portfolio to inform strategic decision making. Working with a high degree of integrity with the ability to proactively identify issues and take corrective action or escalate as required. Managing a complex portfolio that often requires a high degree of agility, flexibility, and regular prioritisation of deliverables. Area Profile: Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) is Perth's inner city, tertiary adult hospital and part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. Home to the State Major Adult Trauma Service, RPH offers tertiary-level emergency medicine, health, complex and elective surgical care, and specialist medical services. It is also a premier teaching hospital and contributes to innovation and excellence in medical research and patient care.
Bentley Health Service (BHS) is a specialist hospital located 11km from the Perth CBD and forms part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. BHS provides quality healthcare to the community, specialising in the delivery of mental health care, aged care services, obstetrics, and rehabilitation.
