The Role:
Due to significant growth in recent years, we are looking to appoint a NSW Operations Manager.
In this newly created role you will be responsible for the coordination of Installation and Servicing Life Fitness Equipment in the NSW/ACT District.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will have 5 direct reports and 14 indirect across Warehouse, Logistics, Installation, and Service teams.
Key Responsibilities include:ManagementOversee departments of Installation, Service, Warehouse, and Logistics.With the support of COO, create and apply policies, systems, and structures to support the NSW Operation.Ensure all staff training is organized, recorded, and up to date.ServiceWith the support of a Head-Tech manage a group of 9 service Techs across NSW and ACT.With the support of a Service Coordinator manage jobs for priority and optimal routes for service technicians.Engage with Head-Tech and National Product Support Manager on service call escalations and look for solutions and early resolutions.Ensure product spare parts are managed to an optimal level and coordinate periodic stocktakes.Be an escalation point for customers in the event of complaints and follow-ups.InstallationWith the support of a Logistics Coordinator and Installation manager manage a team of 5 Installation staff.Oversee overall installations for NSW/ACT ensuring adequate resources for each job and a timely and safe completion of all jobs.Ensure Safe Work Policies and Procedures are in place.Be an escalation point for customers in the event of an issue with installation.Warehouse / LogisticsBe facilities responsible (Repairs and Maintenance) for two sites in Warehouse and Office sites in Glendenning & Chatswood.With the support of the Logistics Coordinator oversee the arrangement of interstate freight and home deliveries.Oversee management of external 3PLs ensuring optimal use of space and looking for opportunities for expense reduction.Customer CoordinationAct as an overflow to the Logistics Coordinator and Service Coordinator in contacting customers and arranging jobs in busy times and/or when people are on leave.Join an established, reputable, stable & growing business.
