About the RoleThe Operations Manager is a practical, hands-on leadership role.
Initially supporting one house with one full-time direct report, a second house in Baulkham Hills is due to be established in 2025.
While you're 100% focused on leadership and management, your direct report has a hybrid role, providing a mix of management support and direct client services.
The service supports three people with complex needs.
The service opening in 2025 is a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) house.
To be successful in this role, you'll have a deep understanding of the needs of people with complex disabilities, excellent relationship skills to support families, and the ability to build a strong, capable, and well-supported team that has the depth of skill and empathy needed to deliver exceptional services and supports.
In this role you'll have the opportunity to stay close to client service delivery while building your management and leadership capability.
You'll have the opportunity to use your experience to partner with our Continuous Improvement and Practice team to develop improved programs and supports, both within the service and across Sunnyfield.

Leadership: Lead a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred supports and services that promote client and staff safety and wellbeing, enriching the lives of people with disabilities.Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by partnering with clients, their Circle of Supports, and the team to enhance service planning, quality, and outcomes, while effectively managing risk and compliance.Strategic Support: Assist the Regional Business Manager in developing and delivering the Regional Plan, achieving performance objectives across client experience, employee experience, service viability, quality and risk, financial sustainability, and stakeholder relationships.
